15 Ways To Be Happier
1 Express love and gratitude often.
I’ve always lived by this and the funny thing is if I forget to thank someone – I will go out of my way to do so. Once I’ve thanked them I feel better.
2 Step up from the problems with solutions.
3 Always have a “me” moment every day.
Really important this one. You need to do something that gives you satisfaction, whether it’s a quiet moment or a treat.
4 Be around happy people.
Better still stay away from the miserable buggers. They only drag you down.
5 Make your career be a source of joy.
Easier said than done but it’s best to remember that about a quarter of you’re working life is spent at work. Better to make it a joyful time rather than being miserable whilst you’re there.
6 Be realistic with goals.
Nuff said
7 Find fun in everything that usually isn’t.
At least try. Best not to over do it at your aunts funeral though.
8 Stand up for your beliefs.
Very true but learn to back away from stupid arguments that get you too upset.
9 Smile to people.
Careful though you don’t want to be thought of as the village idiot.
10 Have a purpose and know it, too.
Having a purpose really is a biggy. Once I found a real purpose I started to enjoy life much more.
11 Laugh.
Try to listen to or watch something that will make you laugh at least once a day. You will feel better for it.
12Put a positive premise to every act.
13 Be yourself and live in all honesty.
Nuff said.
14 Live the moment, not the later.
15 Meditate. Or pray
Whatever helps you but these don’t work for me.
